MARTON CSOKAS (pron. CHO-KASH) has been working professionally as an actor for 15 years in film, television and theatre. His film credits include: Ridley Scott's, KINGDOM of HEAVEN, with the likes of Jeremy Irons and Liam Neeson, the Paul Greengrass directed BOURNE SUPREMACY, TRIPLE XXX, John Dahl's, THE GREAT RAID, TIMELINE,(Dir. Richard Donner) and opposite Charlize Theron in AEON FLUX.

Some Independent film credits are; ASYLUM,(dir. David McKenzie) alongside Natasha Richardson and Sir Ian McKellen, which won the Guild of German ArtHouse Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival (2005), EVILENKO, directed by David Grieco, oppoite Malcolm McDowell and the Australasian cinema of Samantha Lang's, MONKEY'S MASK, and in the Director's Fortnight at Cannes (2001), RAIN (dir. Christine Jeffs).

He has worked in the theatre in classics such as Shakespeare's JULIUS CAESAR (Brutus), AS YOU LIKE IT, (Orlando), and TWELFTH NIGHT (Orsino) directed by Richard Roxburgh. He has also performed in contemporary works; David Hare's, AMY'S VIEW (Dominic), Tom Stoppard's, ARCADIA (Septimus), Patrick Marber's, CLOSER, (Dan) and most recently Lope de Vega's, PERIBANEZ, directed by Neil Armfield.


His next role will be 'George' in Albee's, WHO'S AFRAID of VIRGINIA WOOLF, at Company B, Belvoir St. Theatre, and in the Andrew Upton penned, RIFLEMIND, at the Sydney Theatre Company, directed by Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
